Measuring your heart rate is easy and you can do it from home. The best time to do it is early in the morning. Check your place rate by placing your fingers below your ear. Ideally you should take three readings and average it. Your pulse rate should be between 60 and 100 per minute. If it is more than 100 then you have a problem and it is worth checking with your doctor. Always do it when you are well rested as this is the time when you heart beat is normal. The general rule is the lower it is the fitter you are.

Use three pads of fingers; place these just below the wrist crease at the base of the thumb. Press lightly until you feel a pulse, If necessary, move fingers around until u feel the pulse. . Don’t use ur thumb when finding it.
In adults heart rate lies 60-100beats per min.
