Hey...To lower your risk for heart diseases you need to follow a daily routine of healthy diet and exercises. Your daily diet should ideally be consisting of low fat foods and low glycemic index foods. Vegetables, legumes and fruits occupy the lower Glycemic index. Take small oily fishes, lean meat, skimmed milk and egg whites. Avoid all processed foods and stick to natural foods. You should exercise daily to remain fit and healthy. Moderate exercises will do just fine. An exercise regime of 15 minutes can increase your breath rate, pulse rate, blood flow and lower your blood pressure and stress levels.

To lower the risks of heart diseases it is very necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which you can do by incorporating some of the tips in your daily routine-
    # First of all maintain a healthy body weight. Excess weight puts significant strain on your heart and worsens several other heart disease risk factors such as diabetes. By eating right and exercising, you can lose weight and reduce your risk of heart disease.
    # Eat a healthy diet which is low in fat and cholesterol. Whole grains are an important part of a heart healthy diet. Try to increase the amounts of vitamins you eat, especially antioxidants, which are present in fruits and vegetables have been proven to lower your risk for heart diseases.
    # Limit your alcohol intake. Too much alcohol can damage the heart muscle, increase blood pressure and also lead to weight gain. Binge drinking will increase your risk of having a heart attack, so you should aim to limit your intake to one to two units a day.
    # Stop smoking. Long-term smokers can cut their risk of heart attack to equal that of non-smokers within just two short years of stopping.
    # Exercises are very necessary to keep a healthy heart.
