Avoid eating food with excess fat, excess sugar and excess salt.
45 minutes of daily exercise will further reduce the risk .

    Hi,
Improving your diet is an important step toward preventing heart disease. No single food can make you healthy, so you can be to incorporate a variety of healthy foods cooked in healthy ways into your diet.
Include more fiber foods like vegetables, fruits, greens, whole dhal, Grains.
    Choose healthy snacks in between.
Fats & oil-Olive oil, safflower oil, corn oil, rice bran oil, sunflower oil, groundnut oil -- use only 500 ml per month for one person.
Choose omega 3, 6 foods like fish, flax seeds, walnut -this will maintain your HDL cholesterol.
Exercise like brisk walk, any exercise,yoga- this are more important to maintain your wt & to increase your HDL.
Avoid fatty , oily foods, reduce refined products.
