Alternative of salt for high blood pressure patients

My mom is a high blood pressure patient. What are the commonly available alternatives for salt she can have. Doctor has told her to cut the salt intake. She however, is not able to do so as she doesn't find the food tasty without salt.

Use potassium based salts available in the market. It is the Sodium (Na) content of the salt which causes problem for high blood pressure patients.

Sendha namak or rock salt can also be used. It was very low Sodium (Na) content.

i completely agree rock salt that is black salt and sendha namak can be used as a substitute.According to me low sodium salt should not be used much as its too high in potassium,so may have adverse affects on the heart and kidney. The key is to have salt in moderation. The allowance is 5 gm of table salt per day.1 tsp or 5 gm of table salt contains 2400 mg of sodium.
